Ivan Alter
Bio:
I am a lifelong New Yorker. I have a BA from Brandeis University, a JD from Brooklyn Law School and an MS from Columbia University. I was a trial lawyer in New York City for about 15 years specializing in commercial litigation and matrimonial law. More recently, I have decided to put my skills and experience to use helping people resolve their disputes outside of court. I did my intensive mediation training at the Center for Law and Mediation and actively participate in various alternative dispute resolution industry groups. I live in Chappaqua with my wife and three daughters.
Ivan plans to speak about Mediation and the emerging field of Collaborative Law as alternatives to the court system.
